SEE Telecom Enhances TETRA Communications for Operator ASTRID
The supplier of innovative technologies and solutions from Belgium, recently retransmitted a variety of radio signals to enhance communications for a number of end users in the city of Antwerp, Belgium.
The company received the order for the delivery of a radio transmission system for the Brabo2 Project, covering the Opera Station and the tunnel exit for the Premetro of Antwerpen. The parking and the road tunnel were included in the project.
The following services were re-transmitted:
- 2 channels Simplex VHF for the Fire Brigade
- 7 channels FM
- 4 channels Tetra (Operator Astrid)
- 5 channels UHF for the final customer De Lijn
- The system consists of 2 Master Units and 2 Remote Units
