Omnitronics are returning as Gold Sponsors to this year’s Comms Connect Exhibition, to be held from the 30th September – 2nd October.

So, what’s On?
Alan Parker (Business Development Manager) and Kor Snyman (Engineering Manager) will be conducting a workshop on Advanced Radio over IP, on the 30th September from 9:30am – 12:45pm.
The workshop will cover on the following issues:
- The difference between RoIP and VoIP - how radio systems differ from phone systems
- Implementing one-to-one connections
- Implementing many-to-many connection
- Risk management: Identifying network issues affecting RoIP/VoIP quality; maintenance; and redundancy
- Design elements :- building blocks; calculating network bandwidth requirements
From the Omnitronics Queensland office, Bruce Forward will be presenting a talk with Surf Life Saving Association’s Chris Stevens, entitled “Creating a radio infrastructure that meets the business demands of today and the future”. It’s set to be an interesting talk.
