New Faces and Changes in Leadership Roles Announced at Genesis
The Genesis Group recently announced changes within the company. The company added several new team members to the team and promoted existing employees to new positions within the company.
Within the company, Marcus Carey has now been promoted to Development Team Leader, and Kirby Hearn will be taking on a new role as DevOps.
Kirby Hearn started at Genesis in 2006 as a programmer on the GenWatch3 team. In 2013, he became the iVista team lead, which also included EGLView and SkyViewII. As full-time DevOPS, Kirby’s customers are now the programmers and testers at Genesis. He will be creating the tools they need to deliver new and updated products to market.
Marcus Carey is already since his day one at Genesis, Marcus has served the iVista team as a Web Developer and helped transform iVista into the modern web application it is today.
Furthermore, two new team members were added to the GenLabs Quality Assurance Team, Joseph Hunt and Michael Starkey.
Genesis also recently welcomed Keith Tracey to its Support Team. Tracey has 18+ years at Motorola Solutions, were he accomplished much and became an authority on digital two-way communications. Over the years, Keith was heavily involved in managing two-way radio repairs, from the analog Saber to the modern XTS5000. Most recently, his responsibilities included system setup and maintenance, application integration, training, strategic planning, and project management for Motorola Solutions.
