Cradlepoint, has been chosen by Tisséo Collectivités, the Toulouse Agglomeration Mobility Organizing Authority, and Tisséo Voyageurs, operator of the agglomeration's urban network.

Cradlepoint will equip 220 buses with new communicating equipment. The objective is to develop the range of services offered to passengers on board buses, who will benefit from real-time information throughout their journey.

At the same time, the Cradlepoint solution proves to be a real operational support tool. The buses will be permanently connected to the operations center by 4/5G connections, thus allowing them to be located remotely and carry out remote diagnostics of vehicles and on-board equipment. This provides real-time visibility of failures and improves maintenance diagnostics to better schedule repairs at the depot.

The urban network of the Toulouse agglomeration is the 4th French network. It has 148 bus lines, 2 automatic metro lines, 2 tram lines, representing 103 million trips. In addition, the network also includes the operation of VelÔToulouse and the management of several car parks. This makes it a multimodal network requiring connectivity for both fixed sites and mobile vehicles.
