Paris 2024 Spectrum Team Reaches New Milestone
John Dundas, a radio and spectrum specialist for mega events, wrote that last week a major milestone was reached for the Paris 2024 spectrum team. The first batch of around 18000 spectrum requests have been reviewed and now passed to Agence nationale des fréquences (ANFR) for the team of Fatima Zohra Kaddour to start with assignments.
This is just the start with the Spectrum Booking Portal now open for further applications
As it has been over two years since the start of the procedure, it shows how much planning and stakeholder management with national agencies, broadcasters, teams and so many others who all want some sort of spectrum has to be done.
Spectrum is a finite resource.
