Santa Fe has Awarded Federal Engineering a Contract for Emergency Management Consulting
The Santa Fe County Emergency Management Department (EMD), New Mexico has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract to perform a current conditions assessment, operational analysis, and staffing study of Emergency Management operations.
Mr. Elias Bernardino, Deputy County Manager, stated: “Federal Engineering will build upon the PSAP consulting services the firm is currently providing to Santa Fe County. They will also leverage the knowledge gained from years of previous public safety project for Santa Fe County. “
Mr. Jeffrey Paré, Director of Business Development for Federal Engineering provided an overview: “This project involves a top-to-bottom assessment of the Department beginning with a current conditions analysis which will include data collection, stakeholder interviews, onsite observations, and delivery of a Current Conditions Analysis report. From there we will provide the County with an assessment of their staffing and operations. A technical review will also be provided which will include a managerial and administrative structure assessment, training program review, operational/technical review, and delivery of a Staffing, Operations, and Technology Review report. A final Assessment and Recommendations Report will provide recommendations for enhancing the EMD including organizational restructuring and governance changes.”
