Phillips Sekanick Architects, Inc. Selects Federal Engineering for Public Safety Dispatch Center Project
Phillips Sekanick Architects, Inc., based in Warren, Ohio announced that they have selected Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to conduct a staffing analysis of the Trumbull County, Ohio 911 Dispatch Center (TC911) and make recommendations to improve overall performance.
Mr. Bruce Sekanick, a principal of Phillips Sekanick Architects, said:
“TC911 dispatches 18 police departments and 25 fire departments. In addition, dispatchers handle over 200,000 non-emergency calls for service annually. FE will document current staffing, assess the workload per agency and service, and identify staffing-related issues. The analysis will include changes needed to meet the anticipated population growth over the next five to ten years. FE’s staffing information will assist Philips Sekanick Architects with the assessment of the three possible next dispatch facilities the County is targeting.”
Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, President & CEO of Federal Engineering provided more insights:
“FE will work closely with Phillips Sekanick Architects, TC911’s project manager, Dispatch Center personnel, and County stakeholders to complete this assessment and provide TC911 and PSA with recommendations. Our staffing recommendations will be used to help with the design the next dispatch facility.”
