Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

At this weeks' PMRExpo 2024, Amphenol Procom announced the introduction of their new Broadband and Compact Hybrid Combiner for the PMR/LTE 450 MHz range, designed to deliver exceptional RF reliability while offering unparalleled flexibility.

This new and innovative combiner delivers superior noise reduction and spurious interference mitigation across the PMR/LTE 410-470 MHz band. Its broadband design simplifies frequency planning, providing flexibility in setting and adjusting Tx and Rx frequencies without requiring additional tuning.

Key Product Highlights

  • Broadband Coverage: Operates seamlessly across the PMR/LTE UHF frequency range of 410-470 MHz in multiple models.
  • Power Handling: Supports up to 50 W per radio channel in 2, 3, and 4-channel versions with a compact 2HU (unit height) design.
  • No Compromise on Performance: High Tx-to-Rx isolation (>80 dB) with exceptional out-of-band performance, including effective second harmonic isolation.
  • Integrated Power Supply: Compatible with mains voltage (230 V AC EU/UK or 115 V AC US) without requiring an external 230V AC to 12V DC power supply.
