UK Home Office Upgrades Border Force Legacy Radio Systems to PTToC System
Modernises technology used by employees for adherence to Border Forces’ data and technology strategies.
Radiocoms Systems Ltd (Radiocoms) has secured a contract with the Home Office to upgrade their Border Force legacy radio systems to a Push-To-Talk over Cellular solution connecting their teams here in the UK and other juxtaposed positions.
The contract centres around modernising their existing communication system to create a resilient infrastructure that adheres to Border Forces’ data and technology strategies.
The technology is based on Entel’s AES-256 encrypted E-PoC P1 system and DN495 devices, which will support over 200 users. The new system will reduce operational costs and improve performance by enabling secure connections; allowing their teams to work more efficiently and safely.
