BDBOS to Focus on Next Generation Broadband and Presents Security Operation Center at PMRExpo 2024

The SOC is used to protect the BOS digital radio systems and the federal government's networks from cyber attacks.

From November 26th to 28th, the operator of the German Public Safety and critical communications network (BDBOS), will be exhibiting amongst more than 260 exhibiting companies, associations and authorities at PMRExpo 2024, the leading European trade fair for secure communication in Europe.

In addition to topics related to the BOS digital radio, the focus this year will also be on the authority's KoPa funding program. The second day of the trade fair will be opened by BDBOS Vice President Frank Buddrus with a keynote speech.

At a large stand, BDBOS colleagues will be available to answer questions and discuss and provide information about the official communication options and their future. In addition, the Security Operation Center (SOC) will be presented, which is used to protect the BOS digital radio systems and the federal government's networks from cyber attacks. The joint stand has the main theme "Digital radio saves lives".

The BDBOS funding program KoPa_45 supports innovations, research and development activities for mission-critical broadband networks. The project team will present a selection of the exciting funding projects in a daily changing program at the exhibition stand. In a lecture in the Connecting Area of ​​the trade fair (November 28th, 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.), the KoPa funding program will be placed in the broader context of the BDBOS strategy.

The PMRExpo creates a platform for exchange and solutions relating to secure mission- and business-critical mobile communication for critical infrastructures, authorities and organizations with security tasks and all economic sectors. Over three days of the trade fair, exhibitors from all over the world will present innovations, products, solutions and applications. In addition to the important subject areas of "public safety", "critical infrastructures", "control centers" and "critical IoT", this year special attention will be paid to private 5G campus networks.
