The Police selected the Intracom Telecom's OmniBAS solution after a thorough testing on a live network in Warsaw in order to implement connectivity services for video, backhauling of DMR and Tetra services, and data transmission throughout the city.

Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced today that in partnership with Xentia, a Polish wholesale distributor of voice, data and broadband wireless solutions for surveillance systems, will supply Warsaw Metropolitan Police (KSP Warsaw) with the OmniBAS™ platform.

The Warsaw Metropolitan Police selected the Intracom Telecom's OmniBAS™ solution after a thorough testing on a live network in Warsaw in order to implement connectivity services for video (CCTV traffic monitoring), backhauling of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) and Tetra services, and data transmission throughout the city. More specifically, Xentia will supply KSP Warsaw with Intracom Telecom's wireless products for the implementation of the "OST-112" network expansion and modernization. This project is part of the nationwide project called "OST-112", which is dedicated for emergency call and data transmission between Police and Fire brigade.

Intracom Telecom's OmniBAS™ systems can be connected with compact high-performance outdoor units and all-outdoor radios based on the company's unique OSDR platform, an offering that provides market-leading modulation up to 4096-QAM for high throughput radio communications. KSP Warsaw is taking advantage of the system's unrivalled capabilities, unparalleled flexibility and outstanding performance to further improve communication and data transfer between policemen and firemen countrywide.

It is worth mentioning that Xentia has won the respective public tenders for the project expansions throughout Poland and in particular in Warszawa, Poznan, Krakow, Szczecin and Rzeszow. In all regions, Intracom Telecom's advanced and feature rich network management system, uniMS™, will be installed. The projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
