Rohill Partner delivers TETRA system for DCT Gdansk
DCT Gdańsk is the largest Polish container terminal and the only deep-water terminal in the Baltic region. Already in September last year, the company announced a tender for the supply of a TETRA communications system.
During the tender process, the most advantageous proposal was filed by Rohill partner, IP Connect. As a result of that, IP Connect company was selected by DCT Gdansk, to deliver the communication system for this project.
Additionally, DCT ordered the software for the system administrator position NodeView and unique application dispatcher Chameleon. NodeView allows you to monitor critical system parameters, and provides a record of all correspondence in the system.
The supplied system is compliant with the technical specifications (ETSI EN 300 392, EN300 395, with extensions) and ensures communication of TETRA terminals from different manufacturers, in particular with radio equipment currently used in the DCT.
It is worth mentioning that the installation and commissioning of the system is not included in the order - it will be subject to a separate agreement which may be concluded with the supplier of equipment at a later date.
The system architecture is based on two central nodes and was delivered in time.
