CES Wireless and TABLETmedia partnered to enable the support of Motorola's new line of professional digital 2-way radios in POWER-trak3™.

TABLETmedia’s iTalkie™ solution now exports GPS data and text messaging

July 27, 2011, San Francisco, CA: CES Wireless, a global leader in the manufacturing, integration and implementation of intelligent fleet management solutions and TABLETmedia, a leading innovator in enterprise mobile communication solutions have partnered to enable the support of Motorola's new line of professional digital 2-way radios in POWER-trak3™.

TABLETmedia's iTalkie™/RG is a software application that bridges the voice and data (location, messaging and telemetry) capabilities of Motorola MOTOTRBO™ radios with PC-based dispatch consoles and Windows Mobile rugged mobile computers, and has the ability to export such data to other 3rd party applications, including CES Wireless's products. POWER-trak3™ users have now the ability to track and exchange text messages with MOTOTRBO™ radios. The iTalkie™/RG radio gateway supports all the various single and multi-site conventional and trunked MOTOTRBO™ network configurations and is available directly through authorized Motorola 2-way dealers. POWER-trak3™ supports simultaneous operation of multiple wireless networks easing migration to MOTOTRBO™.

Fleet operators are clearly focusing on critical initiatives that give them better efficiencies said Pat Lohan, vice-president of sales and Marketing, CES Wireless. “Intelligent GPS has proven to dramatically lower operating costs. For a 50 vehicle fleet owner, saving a gallon of gas every day can add $350,000.00 to the bottom line over 5-years. With MOTOTRBO™, CES and TABLETmedia tightly integrated you get voice, GPS and controlled costs.”

“We are very pleased to formalize a product relationship with CES Wireless, particularly because of the company’s long standing reputation and dedication in offering valuable solutions to its customer base. With the iTalkie™ solution, POWER-trak3™ users can benefit from using the most advanced digital 2-way radios which not only provide great voice quality and low battery consumption but also include GPS, messaging and other data capabilities.” says Alessandro Gatti President of TABLETmedia, Inc..
