Together with Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Kingston University (UK) the Belgium Federal Police has joined Public Safety Communications Europe (PSCE). Danny Smet - Business Officer at the Belgian Federal Police: “We followed the Organization for some time in the framework of the European project BroadMap. We were impressed by the knowledge that we could share within PSCE onto the future for Public Safety in the field of mission critical communication. Many various topics are discussed in a group of experts from across Europe. They offer also a great view on the latest technical developments in other countries, also outside Europe. It was a strong added value for us to be able to join PSCE."

PSCE, the Public Safety Communications Europe Forum was established as a result of a European Commission funded project in 2008. Since then, PSCE has evolved into an independent forum, where representatives of public safety user organisations, industry and research institutes can meet to discuss and exchange ideas and best practices, develop roadmaps and improve the future of public safety communications.
