ASTRID Validates Swissphone ATEX Pager

ASTRID, Operator of the Public Safety Communications network in Belgium, has validated a new ATEX pager for use on the ASTRID paging network: the s.QUAD ATEX from Swissphone. The explosion proof s.QUAD ATEX is suitable for use in hazardous areas (zone 1). Furthermore, it is extremely robust, resistant to dust and water and offers a better reception compared to the DE920ex.

Previously, the s.QUAD X35 pager, belonging to the same family as the s.QUAD ATEX, was already validated for ASTRID paging.
