Paducah/McCracken Award Federal Engineering Contract for Radio System Implementation Support
The City of Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky announced that they have entered into an agreement with Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to provide radio system implementation support for the upcoming project. Building upon prior work done by FE, Paducah-McCracken will replace their current radio communications system with a state of the art public safety radio communications system.
Mr. Anthony Copeland, Assistant Police Chief and Project Manager for the City of Paducah, explained:
Effective public safety communications is essential to protecting the residents of the City of Paducah and McCracken County, their property, and their way of life. The City/County, recognizing the need for a modern, mission-hardened communications system to fulfill this requirement, has requested that FE provide personnel to assist with the implementation phase of our radio project. We have worked with FE for almost a decade and are confident in their ability to perform.

- Implementation Project Management Support
- Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Final Design Review (FDR)
- Factory Testing, Equipment Delivery, and Installation Verification
- System and Coverage Testing
- System Acceptance and Cutover
- Subscriber Template Development
- On-Call Technical Support
