TCCA Presents at 5x5 Public Safety Innovation Summit

TCCA's record-breaking TCCA Critical Communications World 2024 took place last month - and maintaining the momentum, TCCA continues to promote the work of TCCA members around the world.

The first event of a busy June and July is the 5x5 Public Safety Innovation Summit in Chicago, hosted by First Responder Network Authority and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR).

TCCA Board vice-chair and chair of our Critical Communications Broadband Group Tero Pesonen will be presenting in the morning plenary 'Public Safety Advancements Around the Globe' together with Brianna Huettel, PMP, Jeff Bratcher, Guillaume LAMBERT, Antti Kauppinen, Inspector (Ret.) Lance Valcour O.O.M. and Brad Morell.

5x5 is a three-day summit that brings together leaders in public safety, academia, government, and industry. 

Every year, attendees:

• Design the future of first responder communications.
• Network and share ideas with fellow leaders in the field.
• Try out the latest innovations in public safety communications technology.
• Explore research breakthroughs and new ideas for R&D.
• Learn how technology is being used by responders in the field today.

With keynote sessions and plenaries, over 70 live technology demos, and numerous breakout sessions and technical deep-dive discussions, this year’s 5x5 summit will expand your knowledge and understanding of proven and emerging tech for public safety while informing future R&D and building connections with other leaders in the field.
