Based in Adelaide, Australia, TETRA Networks provides a wide range of products and services to the professional radio communications industry from software development to final installation and drive testing.
Our History
TETRA Networks' experience in the radio communications industry started the early 1980's with Storno Ltd, who were a European Radio Communications Company and competent provider of PMR radio transceivers and associated hardware.
Their solution based radio systems were world leading and ahead of their time with innovative design, manufacture and implementation which led Storno to become the leading provider of Radio communications systems throughout Europe and other parts of the world. In the late 80's they were acquired by Motorola Inc now the world's leading provider of PMR infrastructure and mobile radio equipment.

- Metropolitan Police Radio Control Room Integration

Our journey continued in the 1990's with contracts throughout Australia and the UK including Motorola Inc.

By the early 2000's we had our first experience of digital mobile radio with the rollout of the Airwave TETRA network eventually covering over 95% of the UK and providing mission critial communication to all of the UK's Police forces.
Other projects this decade have included TETRA integration and testing in the UK, Europe and China including TETRA development protocol stack software field trials in India and Korea.
Recent projects in Australia have included the radio surveying, test, fleet-mapping and integration of TETRA systems for defence sites, hospitals and hotels throughout Australia.
We have this year also conducted radio surveying, testing, fleet-mapping and repeater installation of some DMR radio systems recently introduced by Motorola in Australia.
