The first of its kind in Western and Central New York State, Saia Communications’ SaiaNet trunked radio system is truly wide area trunking. Using Saia’s network of tower sites from Buffalo to Rochester to the PA border; seamless automatic roaming between 13 sites is available today in a dispatch 2-way radio.
New for 2008, SaiaNet now offers real time fleet tracking of your vehicles. Without any interruption in voice communication, one radio is capable of both dispatch and GPS/AVL fleet tracking. Fleet tracking operates in the background allowing 2 services; voice & vehicle tracking in one device. Tracking System access is through any computer with an internet connection. Vehicle ID, speed, direction, and last reported location are some features of the reporting. Mapping features offer unit to follow, pan, zoom level, and address lookups. History from previous dates can be recalled and played back at a later time for review.
SaiaNet offers one low monthly fee; talk as much as you need and track your fleet 24 hours a day! Radios may be turned on or off for seasonal users saving operating costs. You are billed only for units operating on the system.
