The company recently introduced its new PropulsionTM Console for DMR and has demonstrated it at a variety of trade shows.
Catalyst has begun active participation in the DMR Association and will continue its collaboration with a variety of radio manufacturers to create standards-based solutions for dispatch and interoperability. As a pioneer in Radio over IP (RoIP) and modern Graphical Users Interfaces for critical communications, Catalyst is committed to reducing cost and increasing safety for municipalities, utilities, energy companies, and transportation agencies by providing innovation solutions.
The Catalyst Propulsion console provides advanced voice calling and messaging on a graphics-rich critical communications platform. The console displays essential signaling like Unit ID and Emergency on the user interface, and dispatchers can select from hundreds of channels, place Individual Calls, and control scan on multiple donor radios. Telecommunicators can manage field personnel with capabilities like Call Alert, Radio Check, and Radio Disable as well as exchange text messages with them - all from an instinctive graphical presentation, and the Propulsion console provides a unified log of voice and text messages.

Propulsion also provides advanced control of Project 25, EDACSTM, SMARTNET®, MDC-1200, Verizon Wireless Push-To-Talk and other PTT systems. The console creates interoperability between DMR and these other radios by using intuitive graphical controls that can be customized for each dispatcher. Propulsion supports a variety of advanced signaling including Unit ID and channel change for these other systems.
