Hytera Releases New SmartDispatch Version 4.5

A new version is available for the SmartDispatch DMR dispatcher. In addition to numerous improvements, update 4.5 now provides the powerful dispatcher system with support for the new XPT trunked radio system from Hytera.

Here are the highlights of the new SmartDispatch version at a glance:

  • Virtual call ID for every dispatch workstation
  • Dynamic muting of groups
  • Support of XPT trunked radio system
  • Notification sound with incoming call to dispatcher
  • Configuration for .wav or .vrds call recording
  • Improved configuration interface

 

The SmartDispatch update set is available for download for partners of Hytera Mobilfunk in the Partner Network and includes the dispatcher version 4.5 as well as the official 4.5 patch and additional tools. Partners of Hytera Mobilfunk can download the software after registering.

Notes about the update and the update patch:

  • The official 4.5 patch changes the GPS and RRS polling method. Additional information about these changes are located in the "SmartDispatch 4.5 + Patch" document.
  • In addition, the SmartDispatch 4.5 update set includes an expanded and optimized tool for downloading Google Maps and OpenStreetMap map data.
  • The update to the current version 4.5 is free of charge for all SmartDispatch installations of version 4.0 and 4.1. Changes to existing licenses are not required.
  • As always, a two-month test license is included.
  • Some functions of the SmartDispatch version 4.5 may require the repeater firmware version 7.0.
