Simoco Hires Rich Lawrence in North America
Lawrence joins Simoco with over 25 years of experience in radio, data and telecommunications sectors having worked with companies including Catalyst Communications Technologies and M/A-COM.
Radio manufacturer and systems integrator Simoco Group has hired Rich Lawrence as business development manager to further strengthen the organization’s reach in the Americas’ region.
Lawrence joins Simoco with over 25 years of experience in radio, data and telecommunications sectors having worked with companies including Catalyst Communications Technologies and M/A-COM. Drawing on experience in developing and delivering mobile radio systems for public safety, education and utility markets, Lawrence will work with Simoco’s partners to identify and manage opportunities in North America.
Commenting on the new hire, Gary Correia, VP of sales and business development at Simoco Americas, said: “We have built up a strong, experienced regional team to service our clients and end users. Having Rich on board will further increase our reach and our ability to work with more partners in this region.”

Simoco’s recent successes in the Americas region includes the provision of radio systems for Rutland Regional Emergency Communication Centre in Massachusetts and Door County in Wisconsin.
