Topex IP Radio Gateway
Topex IP Radio Gateway provides the convergence between IP network, IP dispatchers, SIP terminals or SIP phones and the existent radio networks.
As a gateway between VoIP and radio, Topex IP Radio Gateway allows the interconnection between dispatching systems or other SIP based terminals with analogue and digital radio networks.
Topex IP Radio Gateway is a flexible and easy to upgrade solution, interoperable with all types of radio communications including conventional radios, TETRA and TETRAPOL terminals.
Topex IP Radio Gateway can be used in 3 operating modes:
1. Transport mode = used to transport a radio channel over the IP network through a proprietary end to end solution.
2. SIP mode = used to call a radio from any SIP endpoint – PTT and Squelch taken from VOX or from SIP INFO.
3. WG67 mode (compliant with ED137 standard specifications) = SIP +R2S header extension for PTT and Squelch. In this case more than one call can be connected to a radio station.
