The unique and first “Critical App Challenge for the Middle East and North Africa” has ended with an award ceremony at the Gitex exhibition in Dubai last week.

During GITEX 2018 Airbus will announce the winners of its “Critical App Challenge for the Middle East” to find the best next-generation public safety smartphone app.

Airbus is upgrading the base’s simulcast voice network, consisting of 48 channels, as well as its extensions to China Lake NAWS Airport and Barstow Daggett Airport.

As part of the contract, Motorola Solutions will supply the Army with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) P25 subscriber unit radios, accessories, warranty and ancillary services to include installation, programming, training and maintenance.

Hytera Mobilfunk was represented with its own area at the booth of its partner Miltech Ltd.

During the show, the committee of Expo Seguridad granted a plaque in recognition of Hytera's 25-year business development and investment in the field of PMR as well as its commitment to the security sector in Mexico and Latin America.
