Reliable and effective network management
Easy access to configuration and surveillance of the entire network is made possible with the unique graphical DAMM TetraFlex Network Management (NM) system. To support high reliability and service for network users, correct operation of the whole network can be checked at any time. Statuses and alarms are displayed automatically and updated for all nodes in the system in a summarized list, ready for detailed analysis. Software backup and updates can also be carried out in one single process for all nodes in the system.
Subscriber register management
With direct connection to the subscriber register all organizations, profiles, subscribers, dispatchers, gateways etc. are maintained directly from the NM.
Optimization of radio networks
The NM allows direct access to the DAMM TetraFlex Voice and Data Log System, a comprehensive network performance logging facility, to review statistical data for system optimization. Once the Voice and Data Log System has been activated, it automatically starts recording the status of all network nodes, such as for timeslot distribution and traffic load, without any further configuration.
Flexible and user-friendly setup
The NM can be executed at any location with access to the DAMM TetraFlex IP backbone, either on a separate Windows PC or via remote desktop to any of the controllers. Multiple PCs can run the NM at the same time.
Multi-technology support
The NM includes multi-technology support meaning that running a mix of TETRA, DMR and analog technologies only requires one application to manage the base stations, groups and subscribers. Additionally, it supports simulcast management and configuration of up to four logical carriers in one physical carrier.
Security
The NM security can be linked to Windows user rights to protect against unauthorized changes to system parameters and subscribers.
