Critical communications across technologies
The DAMM TetraFlex Dispatcher enables communication with TETRA, DMR and analog radios as well as with other dispatchers and DAMM TetraFlex PTT. This cross-technology capability makes it possible to manage a multi-technology network with just one type of dispatcher.
Simplicity and flexibility
To create the user interface that best fits your needs, individual windows can be arranged and their size adjusted as desired. Instant dispatcher functionalities are enabled upon installation on a PC and can be accessed by different users using their individual user number. The layout created by the individual user will be logged on the PC and the layout of the Dispatcher is thus dependent on the user.
Secure and failure tolerant
Apart from dongle-imposed configurations, access can be further regulated by Windows user rights and settings in the subscriber register. Dispatcher access may also be protected by network authentication and a PIN code.
Comprehensive communication options
Whether communicating by text or voice, everything from SDS text messages and group or individual calls to receipt of live video streams are covered by the Dispatcher.
Colour-coding for ease of reference
- For ease of identification colour-coding is used throughout the Dispatcher
- to show subscriber status
- to easily identify groups of subscribers
- to easily link and attach colour-coded teams to DGNA groups
- to easily identify specific audio paths
Keep track of assets using maps and geofencing
The mapping function keeps track of company assets (e.g. vehicles, goods, personnel) and stores position history for a limited period of time. The geofencing function can trigger alerts and warnings by SDS or by attaching DGNA groups to subscribers leaving or entering a specific area.
Increase protection with ambient or discreet listening
Ambient listening can be activated to check for activity around the terminal user. Initiate discreet listening to listen in on active calls secretly without alerting the calling parties, a useful function for the control room when they need to be able to listen to field communications.
Create groups on the spot for efficient response
By efficiently coordinating personnel, damage to property and personal injuries in an emergency situation can be minimized significantly. The DGM function can be used to create teams and link the created teams to groups for efficient communication and coordination of tasks such as emergency service, repairs and clean-up. This can even be done directly from the map.
