TCCA Announces new Exhibitions Partner for Critical Communications Events Series
The TCCA, owner of the Critical Communications series of events, has announced the appointment of MA Exhibitions as event organiser for an initial period of five years.
From May 2018, MA Exhibitions will start organising the Critical Communications series of events, currently known as Critical Communications World, Critical Communications Europe and Critical Communications MENA.
Phil Kidner, CEO of the TCCA, said: ‘After a detailed, thorough and lengthy tender process (the procurement process took more than one year and was ran like a public sector tender) we are delighted to be working with MA Exhibitions and look forward to forging a successful partnership. The TCCA received eight responses to the tender and spoke all of the involved parties.
In order to choose the right partner, the TCCA procurement team visited a number of events run by MA Exhibitions within the UK and abroad, and were impressed with the quality of execution, content and experience for visitors and exhibitors.
Ed Tranter, managing director of MA Exhibitions (pictured right) said: “We are all extremely excited to have won the contract and to be working with the TCCA. It is a perfect addition to our existing publishing relationship, and further strengthens our presence in a market we know well through our wireless titles and our work with BAPCO.”
The first show to be organised by MA Exhibitions will be the global Critical Communications World event in Europe, in May 2018.
The agreement was signed during a TCCA Marketing Group meeting in London on the 24th January
MA Exhibitions is part of the Mark Allen Group and organises the International Critical Communication Awards and BAPCO and a number of other events outside the Critical Communications Sector.
