BeanCounter is a fully convergent billing system, adapted for today's and tomorrow's telecom services . It collects data of any kind, from any source, and can present it on a single invoice. BeanCounter handles postpaid and prepaid subscriptions, based on CDRs or in real time. It communicates with all kinds of networks, such as GSM, analogue, IP and TETRA, and handles all types of data, e.g. GPRS, content, and event based charging.
The data can be collected from switches, content applications and routers and the data handling functions cover communication with other systems and the creation of any output formats. Standard Basset components manage data handling, collection and forwarding of data within and outside the system, mediation, and rating. BeanCounter offers extremely high data throughput. Even when installed on inexpensive, standard hardware, BeanCounter processes 10,000 records per second on each server
CallGate - billing gateway and mediation device
CallGate is a complete package for mediation. It communicates with all existing network entities, offers fast data handling, reads and creates any data format, and provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface, making administration easy.
CallGate acts as a transparency interface between switches and data collecting equipment like billing systems. It collects CDRs (call data records) from the switches and converts the data. The CDRs are then forwarded to the billing or fraud system, or any other application. The application can handle any input or output formats, and collect data from, for example, GSM, GPRS, IP, TETRA, analogue, and fixed switches. The operator can create or change output formats, with no programming required. Tasks can be tied to schedules and automatically executed at defined times.
