The typical work of the operator being located in the control room comprises of many different tasks, which need to be handled in various ways: respond to incoming communication via different media, dispatch calls, and keep track of current operations. In the past, such topics where often covered by different (silo) systems, which made it hard for the user to work in this heterogeneous environment. Operators are able to dispatch resources either via phone or tablet by using portable clients. 3020 LifeX offers a configurable graphical user interface where all functions are grouped into modules that can be activated, deactivated, and arranged according to the customer’s needs. Additionally, context-sensitive layouts provide the operators with all functions needed, without generating an overload of information.
