DSB Announces Six New Nødnett Instructor Courses
During 2023, DSB (The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection - Norwegian: Direktoratet for samfunnssikkerhet og beredskap) operator of the Norwegian public safety critical communications TETRA network, has planned six joint Nødnett instructor courses. This course will help ensure that Nødnett is used correctly, and that the functionality that the network offers is used. After completing the training, the new local instructors will be responsible for educating end users in their own organisation.
The instructor course provides both basic and extended knowledge of Nødnett, and how the radio terminal and Nødnett are used. The course also provides an awareness of the instructor's role through practical exercises and theory.
This year's course has been added to the Nødnett course calendar, and is open for registration from now.
