Promoting appropriate responses to complaints and reports with the professional support of JaCER.
JVCKENWOOD Corporation (JVCKENWOOD) has joined the Japan Center for Engagement and Remedy on Business and Human Rights (JaCER) as a full member. JaCER is a general incorporated association established to support and promote the handling of corporate complaints. By becoming a member, JVCKENWOOD has begun utilizing the Engagement and Remedy Platform provided by the association.
JaCER provides support to its member companies in handling human rights complaints from a professional standpoint through its Engagement and Remedy Platform, a non-judicial complaint processing platform that complies with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
The platform accepts complaints and reports from all stakeholders, including suppliers, regarding violations or suspected violations of international human rights action standards and domestic norms of various countries. JaCER aims to promote dialogue and remedy by providing professional support in handling complaints related to member companies.
The JVCKENWOOD Group has established the JVCKENWOOD Group Human Rights Policy, which respects the human rights of all stakeholders involved in its business activities and supply chain. In the future, to detect and prevent potential human rights risks at an early stage, the Group will utilize the platform and receive professional support from JaCER. By doing so, the Group aims to improve the effectiveness, fairness, and transparency of the complaint handling process and ensure appropriate responses to complaints and reports.
