SkySweep Technologies offers a new product line to support effective and low cost high speed data.
Mikko Huttunen, CEO: "Our company is rapidly growing delivering high speed and high quality HF/ VHF/ UHF data solutions to the most demanding customers world wide..."
There are many Finnish companies that are involved in applications development for TETRA. SkySweep, based in Espoo Finland, provides complete data radio systems with in-built applications such as IP data, instant messaging, e-mail, GPS based tracking and video (2012).
The company just launched a new range of products that are focused on the use of high speed data rate (up to 100 kbit/s) solution, which can be used as add on encrypted secure data system to existing analog or digital trunked voice radio networks such as MPT1327, TETRA, P25, DMR, dPMR and TETRAPOL systems.
Many of these systems support thousands of radio communication networks around the world. Mainly all of these radio communication networks are focused on transmitting voice but do not offer excellent nor secure data capabilities within the net.
With the launch of the new product range, it is clear that SkySweep know these challenges very well and the result of this is that the company offers a very cost-efficient solution (based on the successful platform) that is reliable and already works for many satisfied military, public and civil organisation customers around the world.
The products of SkySweep Technologies are based on the IP network architecture and no extra computer is needed for these applications. The products are state of the art and environmental friendly because of low power consumption. The system can be powered independently by solar energy or a very small fuel cell.
