Sepura hires Chris Lister as UK Business Development Manager
Jonathan Hamill, Regional Director for UK & Ireland at Sepura commented; "I am really pleased to have Chris on board. He understands the market and is well respected within our ever-expanding UK customer base.
Sepura is pleased to announce that Chris Lister has joined the company in the role of UK Business Development Manager. From his base in the north west of England, he is well placed to look after our existing customer base and to develop new business in his territory, which includes Scotland, northern England and south-west England.
Chris joins Sepura from control room and applications specialist APD Communications, where he was Senior Account Manager responsible for all APD UK customers. He also has considerable experience of the UK public safety and commercial marketplace, having previously worked in a senior sales role at Airwave Solutions.
Commenting on Chris' appointment, Jonathan Hamill, Regional Director for UK & Ireland at Sepura commented; "I am really pleased to have Chris on board. He understands the market and is well respected within our ever-expanding UK customer base. Over the last decade, we have worked to develop a market-leading position within our home market. Our continued investment is at an exciting time, as we look towards the longer term evolution of public safety communications and the development of our presence in commercial markets.
Chris Lister added; "This is an exciting time to be joining Sepura. The company has not only seen a number of new contract and refresh wins recently, but has also completed two key acquisitions in just over a year. The TETRA infrastructure from 3T Communications (now Sepura Systems) and the applications expertise and capability from Portalify mean that Sepura is able to offer a complete end-to-end critical communications solution to its customers. This means that we can provide strong value-based propositions to address our customers' business process transformation and I look forward to the challenge ahead.
