Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg is now member of the "Car 2 Car" organization

Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg GmbH, german antenna manufacturer specialized in Tetra PMR solutions for emergency services and police forces, is continuing to work within future-oriented markets. In order to be able to meet future requirements for communications as well as mobile communications and the resulting requirements for radio antennas and downstream hardware in particular, Antennentechnik became a member of the “Car 2 Car” organization in September 2013. 

The term “Car-to-Car communication” (Car2Car or C2C) – also commonly known as Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication in English-speaking areas – is used to refer to the exchange of information and data between vehicles with the aim of warning the driver as soon as possible of critical and dangerous situations. There are various ongoing projects in Europe which are ultimately all aimed at improving safety on the roads and optimizing the flow of traffic. 

"It is particularly important for us to find out as soon as possible about any major trends that are developing and also for us to be able to play a definitive part in the development of those trends. We are expecting our involvement in this organization to enable us to maintain our strong position within future markets too and to develop innovative products. Consequently, that will enable us to maintain our current high level of customer satisfaction", says Dr. Bulbin, head of the Research and Development department at Antennentechnik Bad Blankenburg GmbH. He is certain that involvement in this working group will lead to further innovations within the product portfolio of Antennentechnik.

Going forward, the company will present its TETRA antenna solutions for the second time during CCW2014, this year to be held in Singapore from 20th to 22nd May.
