The success of CREOS using TETRA & SCADA for Utilities

Recently MCCResources interviewed Patrick Colling, former communications expert at Creos Luxembourg S.A., the company that owns and manages electricity and natural gas networks in Luxembourg.

Gert Jan Wolf asked Patrick Colling about the tender process, the implementation of TETRA at Creos, his view on the importance of Critical Communication networks in the Utility sector and his opinion about Critical Communication of the Utility sector in the future.

In the interview, Colling openly talks about the choice of Creos for TETRA and why the modems of Piciogros were CREOS favorite choice.

The offered solution, recently won the the prestigious TETRA Award for the Utility sector during the 2015 annual International TETRA Awards.

The complete TETRA communication solution delivered for Creos comprises Sepura's TETRA infrastructure to cover an area of 2.586 km², TETRA radio terminals for voice communications, 2,850 Remote Terminal Units (RTU) for SCADA control.
