Sepura to show complete covert solution at GPEC Asia
GPEC is the largest event in the Asian region for suppliers to public safety organisations.
The Sepura Group will be showing its extended covert communications solution at GPEC Asia on 21st to 23rd October.
The solution comprises the Sepura Dynamic Controller (SDC) and the NN5, a sophisticated and ground-breaking noise-eliminating solution.
With noise-eliminating technology, wireless control and secure Bluetooth, the SDC connects GSM and TETRA devices to Sepura's proven range of covert accessories. It allows dynamic swapping between the devices with the press of a single button.
Operable in GSM-only mode, it supports all existing Sepura wired and wireless accessories including the NN5 solution – a range of discreet noise-eliminating earpieces.
Another addition to the NN5 range is the Vehicle Loop Controller which allows the deployment of covert earpieces in vehicles previously deemed unusable due to excessive EM noise.
John Drewnicki, Product Manager for Sepura comments: "The NN5 is the ideal, seamlessly integrated solution for covert teams, allowing them to communicate clearly and effectively in locations where the inability to eliminate noise once posed significant issues.
“The SDC, meanwhile, brings new opportunities to the covert market. It makes Sepura's proven covert accessories accessible to the GSM user and allows users to switch instantly between GSM and TETRA, providing fall-back options for both technologies.
“We have created a seamlessly integrated solution for covert teams that will strengthen end-user safety and expand flexibility."
Kasper Barfoed, Sepura’s VP Sales, said: "Sepura is the undisputed leader in the global covert market. The launch of this extended solution demonstrates our commitment to technological development as well as our ability to listen to customer issues and deliver innovative, well thought-out solutions".
