BHE participates at Hungarian EDR TETRA Network Conference
BHE will participate today at the Hungarian EDR (Unified Digital Radio Communications System) conference, where the company will introduce the latest developments including the dual RF band dual optical fed critical communication repeater system.
This system is based on an architecture which can be effectively used in metro system requiring extra security and reliability.
At the event, visitors of BHE can also get familiar with the options of WDM (wavelength division multiplex) techniques where the number of the slave devices can be increased up to 16 on one single master unit. Regarding remote control, the dispatcher can access to the system either via LAN or 3G modem communication.
Also during the event, results achieved in TETRA technology will be presented as well as further development opportunities, the possibility of extending current applications as well as new applications.
Another important part of the event is that TETRA users will offered the possibility of rethinking structures and the additional TETRA-based network development plans, including end user needs to adapt to the introduction of broadband communication.
The nationwide TETRA (Airbus Defence and Space) network, was launched in 2006 by Pro-M, Hungary's EDR network operator and operates 270 base stations with about 42,000 TETRA terminals.
