CFB Completes Technical Dialogue for New Public Safety Communications Network in Denmark
The National Police Centre for Emergency Communications (CFB) has now completed a technical dialogue with market players about the upcoming tender for the replacement of the SINE TETRA Network in Denmark.
According to a spokesman, there has been great interest from the market and CFB has benefited greatly from the dialogue in preparation for the upcoming tender.
CFB will now complete the work with the tender documents and conduct a dialogue with the emergency services before the tender can be released. CFB expects to launch the tender somewhere this year. The current contract runs until May 2020 and supports a one year extension.
One the question if CFB looks at alternative technologies beside TETRA, the spokesman said that currently all possible technologies are being investigated.
