Hytera Equips Bulgarian Police with TETRA
Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH and its Bulgarian partner Sectron Ltd. will supply the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior with 4,400 TETRA radios.
Hytera was selected by the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior through its recent radio tendering. The TETRA radios will be used by the Bulgarian border police. The Bad Münder experts for radio systems were able to win against their competitors and secured once again a commission in the public security sector. The success was achieved thanks to reliable products, a high level of quality and experience, and a well-positioned local partner.
"Professional mobile radio in mission-critical communication is a matter of trust. We are very proud of the trust that Bulgaria shows us with the purchase of our radios.", says Frank Pauer, Deputy CSO at Hytera Mobilfunk. „Our customers know that we are a strong partner that provides high quality products and an extensive future vision that they can depend and rely on."
Great products and a strong partnership
The delivery of 4,400 TETRA radios consists of 3,800 handheld radios PT580H Plus and 600 mobile radios MT680 Plus.
PT580H Plus will support the emergency task forces with excellent TETRA communication in all situations. Features of PT580H Plus include dust and water protection determined by IP67, a high-resolution color display, clear and digital voice quality, and GPS location.
500 of the mobile radios will be installed in vehicles and the remaining 100 will be used as desk radios. The MT680 Plus is distinguished by its robust design and easy operability.
Accessories were an important aspect of the tendering. In addition to CK02-S car kits, the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior will receive various audio accessories for their radios.
Tsvetomir Benchev, Sales Manager at Hytera Mobilfunk: „Our radios will prove their strengths in Bulgaria. We are looking forward to proceed with our good cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior and our local partner Sectron Ltd.“
