TAIT Communications announced last night that as well as the standard black, Tait's DMR and P25 Portable Radios are now available in a variety of colours; luminous green, lime, orange, red and yellow.
Why coloured radios? According to TAIT Communications there are a number of reasons behind this, and it varies from organisation to organisation. From a visual perspective some may want coloured radios to distinguish end users in different departments. Organisations which use a variety of different frequency bands also find it easy to distinguish between their radios when coloured differently.
From a more hands on perspective, having a light colour such as yellow may be necessary to keep a radio clean (in the case of ambulance workers).
Furthermore, some end users, such as fire fighters, will require an easily visible radio in the case of an emergency.
These radios are ready to purchase from today. To find out more about how you can supply your organisation with such radios, please get in touch with your local dealer.
