IWCE today announced IWCE's Critical LTE Communications Forum is scheduled to take place November 8-9 at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities, Dallas, TX. It is the only US event in the industry dedicated to critical communications for government, public safety, critical infrastructure and enterprises as they prepare to transition from LMR to mission-critical LTE, and state and local governments prepare for FirstNet and Smart Cities.
The Forum is targeted to solutions vendors and carriers as well as enterprise, utilities and other critical infrastructure, government and public safety professionals. The conference will examine how the deployment of the largest LTE network in the country affects all sectors and users of critical communications technology and gain insight into LTE's transformation of traditional LMR users, cellular networks, 5G, NG911, critical infrastructure and the deployment of smart city technologies.
IWCE's Critical LTE Communications Forum will offer keynotes and speakers. Topics to be covered include:
- How Smart Cities Lead to Smarter Public Safety (and Beyond)
- FirstNet Interoperability with LMR and 911
- Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk Roundtable
- Local Control and Early Builder LTE Networks
- FirstNet's Network Functionality, Applications and Security
- The Innovation Ecosystem
"LTE is transforming the way our audience ensures our communities are safer and thriving," said Stephanie McCall, Show Director, IWCE's Critical LTE Communications Forum. "If you are a first responder who needs to know what FirstNet and LTE can do for your private network for both voice and data, a carrier trying to find the next marketplace for LTE products and services, an oil & gas or utility with smart cities and ever-expanding analytics and security concerns or an enterprise IT manager who wants to understand the opportunities available with LTE, FirstNet, NG911 and smart cities, then our Forum is the place to be in November. We're expecting a robust, interactive discourse that will continue to educate public safety, government, critical infrastructure and enterprise professionals."
