Magdalene secures data radio contract with GHE in Jersey

Magdalene, a leading UK telecommunications infrastructure services provider, has secured a contract with Growth Housing and Environment (GHE) in Jersey to supply new Schneider Q Series digital telemetry radios to support the upgrade of its radio telemetry estate. Magdalene will deliver and support the Schneider Q Series data radios that will address previous network issues on the island, increasing capacity and providing remote management. An initial Q Series radio test bed has proved very successful and GHE is now bidding for further funding to refresh the island’s remaining infrastructure.

Magdalene will continue to provide support throughout the process. Technical workshops are scheduled to support the redesign of Jersey’s telemetry network, making best use of the IP-based features and full encryption capabilities of the Q Series data radios.
