AntennaPro Announces New Mast Mountable LTE450 Filter

Curated by: Gert Jan Wolf - Editor-in Chief for The Critical Communications Review

AntennaPro recently announced details of Amphenol Procom's latest development for the LTE450 band (bands 31 and 72), a new mast-mountable LTE450 filter designed to reduce interference from Digital Video Broadcasting.

This product demonstrates Amphenol Procom's commitment to solving real-world RF challenges, specifically targeting the issue of interference from high-power DVB-T transmissions close to LTE450 communication.

Interference originating from DVB-T transmitters can often lead to saturation of LTE450 receivers, disrupting communication reception and reducing radio coverage.

The new mast-mountable bandpass filter, PRO-BPF 451-466, is designed to suppress high-power signals, effectively mitigating interference, and elevating the performance of LTE450 communications.

Key Features:

• Covers LTE450 bands 31 and 72 (451-466 MHz).
• The filter effectively provides 40 dB rejection towards DVB-T bands below 430 MHz and above 470 MHz.
• The unit is IP67-rated and includes a Gore valve to equalize pressure in the sealed enclosures, thus providing prolonged durability.
• The filter is PIM rated to -150 dBc with 4.3-10(f) connectors.
• Mast mountable – brackets and metal strips included for mounting.
