TELTRONIC - one of the leading TETRA manufacturers and solution providers in the world today - and WITHUS - a highly respected Korean mobile communications company - jointly hosted a seminar at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Seoul on June 7, 2010, inviting key players in the professional mobile radio (PMR) space from Government, Military, Transportation - including Railways and Metros - and System Integrators.
Attendees at the seminar were able to witness a real-time demonstration of TELTRONIC’s NEBULA system by local engineers. The event provided the perfect opportunity for both companies - TELTRONIC and WITHUS - to demonstrate their close cooperation in TETRA projects in Korea and Asia-Pacific, including the exciting new Formula 1 track project. TELTRONIC’s regional manager, Oscar Fernandez and WITHUS’ Mr. Lee both emphasized the strong relationship between the two companies and their high expectations for continued business growth over the coming months and years.
During the seminar presentations, the merits of TELTRONIC’s NEBULA system and TETRA terminals were clearly explained. NEBULA can be easily integrated with other communications networks and allows a growing number of data applications. Although TELTRONIC has been highly successful around the world in the public safety sector, it is also the clear leader in transportation solutions for railways, Metros and mass-transit systems. The company has developed highly sophisticated, resilient on-board equipment, which has been deployed in over 30 transport networks around the world.
