About 170 participants visited the Control room day 2013 at the International police fair IPOMEX in Münster, Germany. The theme "linking the control centers to digital TETRA radios" still the focus of great interest.

In the opening speech, the head of the Task Force for the Federal Agency for Digital Radio of BOS, Uwe Stöhr, talked about the current status of the network structure and the certification of control centers. He reported on the previous experience with digital (TETRA) radios that are currently in use and the first results of Research on digital radios and health.

Of particular interest was the presentation of the head of the controllroom located in the region of Rheinland Pfalz about the flexible and future-oriented integration of the control centers of police and non-police BOS organizations, which not only allows more technical and tactical features, but also still saving substantial costs. The solution provides redundancy scenarios through automated routes in rlp network, the core of the technology.

Another presentation was held by Sven Franke (BOS). He talked about  the state of development of the user's own management (NPM), the implementation of the tool and its interface to other systems. He concluded with an outlook on the further development and use of opportunities related functions in the control centers.
