CCExpo accompanying conference of BDBOS and parallel meetings of KoKo and the CCBG

In addition to the comprehensive specialized trade fair that covers all relevant product areas the elements of CCExpo® in the programm of fring events.

• Communications Congress on 10th September (with simultaneous translation German-English), moderated by Günter Krebs, Project Manager BOS Digital Radio Hamburg, with international panel discussion "Between today and tomorrow - The next steps towards the optimization of European BOS networks" with contributions from European countries and the TCCA, moderated by Dr. Barbara Held, Head of Directorate "General Policy" at the Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS)
• 11th Official Control Room Congress on 11th September, moderated by Gerhard Schulz, Head special IT-operations, Police Hamburg; Head project Control Rooms, Project Group BOS Hamburg (Head working group Control Rooms)
• daily lectures in the forum in the exhibition hall

• conference by BDBOS "Experiences from the operation of BOS digital radio“ on 9th September 2014.

The contents of the individual elements will be published on the CCExpo® website www.CCExpo.de in the course of the 2nd quarter. The first topics and the registration forms are already available.

Scheduled parallel to CCExpo® 2014 are:

• the conference of the Federal and Länder coordinating bodies BOS digital radio as well as
• the international plenary session of the Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG) of TETRA + Critical Communications Association (TCCA)

At the end of October 2013 Exhibition & Marketing Wehrstedt GmbH (EMW) have successfully completed our 13th event for mission critical information and communications, professional mobile radio (PMR) and control rooms now with new concept and new name as independent industry platform CCExpo Critical Communications Expo® in Hamburg. Now the oranization continues this annual branch meeting every two years embedded in our GPEC®, that takes place again under the patronage of the Federal Minister of the Interior and as independent event in uneven years.

Organizing CCExpo® as special part of GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference®, Europe's leading specialized trade fair and conference for Police, Special Forces and Public safety, EMW on the one hand guarantees the continuing intensive exchange of information and on the other hand makes an important contribution in optimizing and saving resources among visitors as well as exhibitors. The ICT sector has already been one of the biggest sections of this specialized trade fair since the first GPEC® in 2000.

Of course, all CCExpo® visitor target groups of critical infrastructures such as state and administration, energy and water supply and disposal, information technology and telecommunication, transport and traffic as well as finance are granted access. Due to the fact that visitors will also be granted access to all product areas of GPEC®, registration and admission for non-BOS participants is only possible with pre-registration. The respective registration form is already available on the website: www.CCExpo.de.

There are no restrictions for BOS (public safety) forces.

All in all this summary of ressources with location in Germany will also contribute to a further internationalization of both events. At the last GPEC® in 2012 6,514 security experts from 59 countries met with 496 exhibitors (335 national and 161 international ones) from 29 countries. CCExpo® 2013 could welcome 1,338 participants and 99 exhibitors from 10 countries.
