BDBOS organises private forum at CCExpo 2014 in Leipzig
The BDBOS forum entitled; "Digital radio BOS: Towards a holistic operation", is part of the common GPEC exhibition/CCExpo on September 9, 2014
BOS digital radio has arrived in the practice now and the technical options for the operational-tactical applications in the operation of the BOS digital TETRA radios are versatile. This creates new challenges in the interaction of tactics and operations and thus also brings new requirements for country-specific as well as cross-country processes.
The BDBOS forum entitled "Digital radio BOS: Towards a holistic mode", with speakers from federal and state governments offers an introduction on this topic, highlighting the different angles.
BDBOS will explain the current state of planning for the operational organization of the BOS digital radio. The state of Rhineland-Pfalz presents the transnational operational model of cooperation with the counties of Saarland and Hessen. The Bayern authority will report about the operational-tactical applications of new technology in preparation for the summit in Elmau 2015 and in the final discussion the participants will discuss the opportunities and risks of centralized and decentralized approaches in building a "holistic operating structure".
