Dutch Police to stop C2000 radio tender
The Dutch police have stopped a tender for radios on the emergency services C2000 TETRA network.
The tender aims to ensure all police members are using the same equipment and covers around 50,000 radios, worth in total EUR 8-10 million.
The tender was stopped amid suspicions the requirements of the contract were highly tailored to just a few possible candidates.
As a result, the current radios will likely be used for another year.
