Police Szczecin and Krakow start using TETRA-network from Rohill
Rohill and her partners Maxto and IP-Connect have succesfully migrated the TETRA-network of the Polish cities of Szczecin and Krakow from Motorola Dimetra to Rohill TetraNode.
These are the first two cities to be migrated in the country.
The migration of the two live-systems was completed without significant issues or observations. All policemen kept using their TETRA-radio during the migration, no reprogramming was required.
The Polish police TETRA-network was based on Motorola Dimetra IP 3.8. This system has been replaced by State-of-the-Art TetraNode technology which is a full soft switching and IP based solution from Rohill, enabling (future) smooth integration with-LTE networks if required.
