City of León, Mexico equips Municipal Police with new TETRA radios
As from yesterday the León Municipal Police is equipped with new Tetra radios, which will strengthen the work of intelligence and surveillance of the police officers.
Twenty patrol cars of the León municipal police are now equipped with TETRA radios and are connected to C4, which, says the Mayor of Leon, Hector Lopez, will allow a more efficient support of both vehicles and agents, because it can identify in real time the location of the units and officers.
The Police received 566 radios (200 mobile radios and 366 portable radios) and the whole order will be delivered during this week.
"Although the equipment is important, the real difference will be made by those using the equipment", Mayor Hector Lopez said in his speech.
